What the work involves

• Assist in the accounting closure and financial reporting process ensuring all financial deadlines are met for India entities
• Own and assist in aspects of monthly close, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, monitoring and preparing ad-hoc analyses
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
• Multi-entity journal entries and reconciliations including, but not limited to cash, prepaid and other current asset, construction in process, fixed assets, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, leases, etc
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist in the timely processing of payments to vendors
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly income statement and balance sheet and fluctuation analysis
• Assist in the implementation of processes and internal controls
• Assist legal in the governmental compliance filings
• Prepare and review internal controls over financial reporting documentation to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) in line with established processes
