• The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and other authorized personnel as assigned by the college management.
• The Driver must ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safe operation of the college vehicle while strictly following traffic rules and institutional transport policies.
• Drive college buses, vans, cars, or other authorized vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Ensure the timely pick-up and drop-off of students and staff as per the approved schedule.
• Follow designated routes and comply with traffic rules, road safety regulations, and transport policies.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including brakes, tyres, lights, mirrors, fuel, and other essential components.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Ensure that students board and exit the vehicle safely, wherever applicable.
• Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, defects, and maintenance.
