What the work involves

• We are looking for a CA semi-qualified (drop-out) or finance professional with strong hands-on experience in accounting, taxation and company law compliance. You will manage the finance and compliance backbone of our Investment Banking operations and support the deal teams on live mandates.
• Key Responsibilities & Requirements.
• 1. Assist in preparing financial statements, schedules and working papers, and coordinate with statutory auditors and tax consultants during audits.
• 2. Help with IPO-readiness checks, data rooms and document tracking, and coordinate with auditors, legal counsel and other advisors on live deals.
• 3. Know about accounting software such as Tally, Busy and Zoho Books, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and generating reports and MIS.
• 4. Manage TDS/TCS compliance: deduction, deposit, return filing (24Q, 26Q, 27Q), reconciliation with Form 26AS/AIS, and issuance of certificates.
• 5. Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, input tax credit reconciliation, e-invoicing and responses to notices.
• 6. Support Income Tax matters, including advance tax computation, return filing, tax audit support, assessments and correspondence with tax authorities.
• 7. Support the deal teams with financial analysis, due diligence data, valuation inputs and transaction documentation, including tax and regulatory inputs on deal structuring.
• 9. Must have: CA Inter/Final attempted (semi-qualified) or a B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) background, strong Excel skills, sound knowledge of finance, accounting and taxation, and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
