What the work involves
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, smart boards, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues to ensure minimal disruption to school operations
- Maintain and monitor computer labs, smart classrooms, audio-visual equipment, and other technology-enabled learning facilities
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and other required tools
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting
- Support teachers and administrative staff in using digital teaching tools, classroom technology, and school-related software
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, biometric devices, access-control systems, and other IT equipment, where applicable
- Maintain IT asset inventories, software licences, maintenance records, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and technical support
- Monitor system performance, perform regular updates, and help ensure data security and system reliability
