What the work involves

• Role Summary The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the execution of financial transactions
• This role involves financial analysis, due diligence, client interaction, and the creation of presentation materials
• The Senior Associate collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to provide clients with strategic insights in deal origination and help them achieve their financial goals
• Support Senior Bankers in business development activities: Actively being involved from deal origination to execution to closure
• Drafting client pitches and enabling in winning the mandate
• Analyzing & understanding financial statements
• Maintenance and preparation of financial models with specific Sector Knowledge and inputs
• Support in ideation of Investment Banking transactions and tracking industry trends (and update Senior Bankers)
• Conducting Industry and Company specific research including supporting Thought Leadership initiatives
• Attending Client Meetings and Drafting Sessions

What they are looking for

• such as CA/CFA preferred
• 4 to 6 years of relevant Investment Banking experience, with exposure to the FIG/Financial Institutions Group sector
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and financial statement analysis, with hands-on experience in transaction execution
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, along with financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, Mergermarket, and VCCEdge
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and ownership, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
