• A creator mindset: you live on the platforms, understand the algorithm, and spot trends early.
• A strategist's instinct: you can explain why a post exists, what pillar it serves, and what it's meant to do for the brand or business, not just that it's "on theme."
• Comfort with data: you can read an engagement or reach report and walk away with an actual decision, not just a screenshot.
• You're a creator yourself: an Instagram page, a newsletter, a meme account, anything where you've personally built an audience. Having stood on the other side of the algorithm makes for sharper briefs and faster instincts.
