What the work involves

Product workflows: learn how an order moves through Nnomm, from the first WhatsApp message through cart, payment, the restaurant, and delivery, to refunds, settlement, and payouts.
Work with product and engineering to pin down how each flow should behave before it's built.
Functional testing: turn requirements and acceptance criteria into test cases that cover happy paths, edge cases, and failures, like a double-tapped Pay button or an order the restaurant rejects after payment.
API testing: build and maintain Postman collections for our REST APIs, with environments, pre-request scripts, and assertions on status codes, payloads, and error responses.
Check that authentication and access rules hold, so no customer can see another customer's data.
Test automation: turn stable test cases into automated API tests in Kotlin and JUnit 5, and run them in our GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline so regressions are caught on every change.
Data and events: use SQL to verify what each API call writes to PostgreSQL, and check that the Kafka events it publishes reach the right services, even when a message is retried or delivered twice.
