What the work involves

• Job Role: Cybersecurity Analyst Engineer
• Monitor security systems, networks, and endpoints to identify and prevent cyber threats and suspicious activities
• Analyze security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis to minimize security risks
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and security risk analysis
• Manage and monitor SIEM tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, and Microsoft Sentinel
• Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, antivirus, EDR, and intrusion detection and prevention systems
• Investigate phishing attacks, malware infections, ransomware threats, and unauthorized access attempts
• Perform log analysis, threat hunting, and security event correlation to detect potential cyberattacks
• Support incident response, digital forensics, and disaster recovery activities
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls
