What the work involves

• AWS CNE Infrastructure Engineer (LTC E)
• Were modernising with cloud—building a secure, resilient, and scalable cloudnative platform that enables engineers across Lloyds Banking Group to build and run services safely and efficiently
• The AWS Cloud Native Environment (CNE) is the Group’s strategic cloud platform, providing standardised, AWSnative capabilities, private connectivity, and multiregion resilience to support critical business services
• As an AWS CNE Infrastructure Engineer (LTC E), you will act as a technical authority defining platform strategy, standards, and architectural direction
• You will lead complex, enterprisescale initiatives and influence cloud adoption and engineering practices across the organisation
• Strong operational engineering across AWS security, observability and resilience, including CloudWatch, Dynatrace/Splunk, logging/monitoring, incident troubleshooting, multi-region resilience, security controls and production support
• Cloud Platform Engineering & Accountability
• Own and govern the design and operation of AWSnative platform capabilities across networking, compute, storage, and foundational services
• Define, evolve, and govern standardised onboarding patterns for applications and integrations on AWS CNE
• Design resilient, multiregion platform architectures aligned to availability, recoverability, and regulatory expectations

• Required Skillset:
• Strong hands-on expertise across AWS infrastructure and platform services including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, Direct Connect/VPN, EC2, S3, IAM/KMS, EKS/Kubernetes and secure multi-account/hybrid cloud architectures
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code, automation and DevOps engineering skills using Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, Git and scripting (Python/Bash), with experience building reusable, secure and standardised cloud platform patterns
