Duties:

Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases
Perform manual and functional testing for web and mobile applications
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
Conduct regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Ensure applications meet functional, usability, and performance standards
Validate APIs, database integrity, and backend functionality as required
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best testing practices
Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports
Support production releases and post-release validations
Continuously improve QA processes and testing methodologies

Skills and experience:

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
Experience in testing web and mobile applications
Hands-on experience with manual testing and load testing tools and techniques
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.)
Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries
Experience with test management tools is a plus
Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is an advantage
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
