What the work involves

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial record maintenance
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation
• Assist with GST-related activities, including data preparation, documentation, and reconciliation
• Manage supplier and vendor account reconciliations and ensure timely settlement of outstanding balances
• Track refunds, credit notes, debit notes, and other financial adjustments
• Prepare periodic financial statements, reports, and MIS as required
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders for accounting-related queries
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting transactions and records

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial documentation, reconciliations, and payment-related activities
• The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, GST compliance, and financial transactions
• Candidates with prior experience in travel agency accounting, particularly airline and supplier reconciliations, will be preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field
• 12 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and invoicing
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or equivalent
