What the work involves

• Manages infrastructure operations for application teams including hardware, networking, virtual infrastructure, server and VM configurations and storage
• Provides support to application teams for these areas and ensures that they are properly maintained
• More senior roles act as liaisons between application teams and other operations teams, such as data center operations, infrastructure teams and sgl dba teams
• Creates and manages Virtual Machines
• Works with Development teams to create and manage server configurations
• Manages storage volume deployments
• Promptly responds to help requests from Development teams
• responds to and solves system alerts
• Automates routine tasks, such as patching, service restarts and data volume refreshes
• Define and implement automated provisioning strategies using tools such as Terraform or Ansible

• 1-3 years working experience in infrastructure administration
• Ability to seek and provide constructive feedback
• Advanced proficiency in automation languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
• Ability to appropriately shift priorities on the fly
